hopfully very little tarmac for us but the mrs is comming so im sure ill get mind this mind that, is there anywhere where i can park tell her to get out and its a 20ft drop on her side,,then i can drive off quick tongue.gif

I had assumed Fred's comment above was about there not being areas in Essex with death defying mountains to drive up with big drops to one sie...

Ralph raised an interesting question though about group sizes. The lanes are public roads, so anybody can drive on them when they want, but 'responsible use' is definitely encouraged - ie not massive convoys. Essex CC are one of the more enlightened councils when it comes to unsurfaced rights of way, and as a club we want to maintain the good relationship we have with them.
