Thank you for your help at SUDBURY on sunday 13/1/08.

Getting my c.c.v onto the trailer was greatly appreciated.

Hi, thanks for saying so,and I'm sorry to other members if we caused mayhem and strife to you during our efforts to get the car turned round, I know it caused some mirth during the break. It started to resemble the skip challenge at the winch event, those there will know what I mean! Any road up, don't worry about the strop, I should keep a better eye on my toys. Did you get the clutch sorted out after all that? Dave

Hello Dave,

I purchased a new replacement cylinder. On fitting and -*test*-('")ing there was a slight problem. I don't think that the rod was in position properly ( and thats before i had a beer...lol) because after bleeding the clutch pedal would not budge one inch. sad.gif

The answer: Start all over again...lol ohmy.gif
This time with success, the clutch pedal could be pressed and depressed no problem. smile.gif

I turned the engine over in gear and it surged forward as you would expect, tried the same with clutch pedal pressed and presto the engine turned over.......Hoooray. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Trouble is flat battery and a flooded engine are next to sort out. wink.gif wink.gif

With a bit of luck this will be taken care of tomorrw.

Mike.
