Book in here for the annual day into night trial at Mid Essex Gravels.
The three classes of trial will be run independently of each other, but all on the same site, and all running concurrently.
Signing on will open 11.30 with the trials starting at 13.00.
Lighting regulations are simple. Road vehicles (Tyros and RTVs) are allowed their headlights and one additional pair of lights mounted beneath the top of the bulkhead in a generally forward facing position. CCV vehicles are allowed four forward facing lights (as in two pairs) mounted below bulkhead level. Spectators are advised to wear hi-vi type clothing and bring torches (but not for pointing at canes to show drivers the way!).
For those new to this event, we will run 4 or 5 sections in daylight, have a break for tea, and then re-run the sections in the dark. The trial will probably finish about 19:00.
