Congratulations on an excellent event site. A real 21st century effort!

A comment, ISTR last year there were notes about the final leg of the route being possibly difficult for tailers and caravans and recommending a preferred slightly longer diversion. Has that changed?

All pre booked entries will receive a postal confirmation which will include a printed map giving details of location, preferred and best entry route.

I encourage everyone to pre book, you will also receive your scrutineering forms for each event. This will cut down on the number of times you need to queue up at booking in and will of course make queues shorter and everyone's job a lot easier!

Don't delay, book today! smile.gif smile.gif smile.gif

The entry form says click on the pay by paypal button, but I can't find one - where is it?

James

Once you tick the 'I have read the supplementary regs' box the Paypal button appears!

Fiendish this technology! rolleyes.gif

Is this open to any club, or invited clubs only?

James_Hartley- 01-29-2007
I suggest a placeholder for it then, and a note or slow people like me won't know what to do!

Kevin 4x4dj- 01-29-2007
Open to MSA affilated, invited clubs. Clubs list is on Supplementary Regs.

If your club is not listed let me know and I can then send an invite.

All,

I have noted the comments from various people and made a couple of small changes to the Entry Form to make it more obvious what to do and in which order.

All those who have already entered don't need to do anything. Don't worry, your entry is still with us.

James,

I asked around, but none of the 7 or so clubs i belong to are MSA affiliated. I guess its an LROC thing.

Shame really, as i was hoping to participate, along with several of my friends. As there ANY likelyhood of you, as a club, having a more open con-*test*-('")? Where anyone can compete? Or is it always going to be setup for one marque?

Kevin 4x4dj- 01-30-2007
Have sent you a pm UKJeeper

Just in case anyone else was wondering, the event is open to all makes of 4x4 and is not Land Rover specific.

The MSA permit allows us to run the event and they are not marque specific but do require entries to be club members of a registered club within the MSA.

Thanks for that Kevin. Haven't seen a PM yet, could you resend it? Thanks.

Great Website Ralph!
Is there any charge for camping - I can't get the booking form up at the moment I'm having to update Adobe reader?

Regards
Mark

Mark,

Camping is £15 for the week-end. One flat fee for however many nights you choose.

Let me know if you can't get to the form and I will sort something out for you.

regards
Ralph
