I have been a lincolnshire land rover club member for many year's but i was born in colchester and lived at earle's colne near halstead so i thought i would kill two bird's with one stone and visit your club and join in with what ever you lot get up to on my visit's.
Although i have lived in lincolnshire for most of my life i have a strong bond with earle's colne as i lived on the hunt with my parent's and grandparent's until my father was posted to waddington just outside lincoln many year's ago.
For thirty six year's i have travelled down to tend the grave stone's of my grandparent's,although for the first twenty year's on my Matchless Chopper with sleeping bag and tent on the back and i would spend night's in the wood's and meet up with people that remembered my family.
Due to ill health i had to lay up my bike after 247,000mile's of travelling and now i have a range of 88 and 109 camper's for my travel's s so i now can hopefully make my stay a lot more comfortable as you name it and i have got it in my truck and it's all home made.

You are more than welcome to come along and join in whenever you are in Essex and we have something on. The next obvious meeting we have is the Easter weekend, maybe we shall see you there ?
Thank's for that and i might just make it for your easter event but with haveing both my 109's off the road sleeping in an 88 is not what i would like at this moment although i could pull the caravan but then that's down to cost and it is a fair distance just for a couple of day's.
I am really kicking myself now that the dormobile roof on the 109 took longer to fit than i thought and the split charging system and general upgrade on the 109ambulance is again taking longer than i thought it would so maybe i will not make yet.
In my club i am well known for what i achieve and because i am dissabled i just turn up at event's anytime with no prebooking or anything because i never know how long it is going to take me as during my travel's i on a bad day will pull up anywhere and just rest so will this be a problem with your club.Catch you later.R-Rose.
