RE-LOG BOOKING
Leading up to the ALRC National, hosted by Lincs LRC and Staffs & Shrops LRC may I ask all clubs to remind their drivers of log booked vehicles that they must ensure that if their vehicle logbooks are more then five years old then they require a re -*test*-('") sticker to be added to the logbook prior to entering any event. Only one signature from a log book scrutineer is required for this and whilst it may be possible to obtain the signature at the National it would be helpful if vehicles were checked beforehand.
Reminder on Log Booking fees;
• Fee for a logbook £10.00
• Change of owner £5.00
• Restickering £5.00
Dennis Wright, log booking secretary advised the meeting that the numbers of applications he had received for processing for rechecking of vehicles with a log book over 5 years old was a lot less than expected and he wished all clubs to ensure that the restickering process was completed as soon as possible and for those vehicles expected to be used at the National or the various interclub events as soon as possible. It would be unfair to expect the National organisers to provide this facility at the event
For those taking older vehicles to Easter, there may be an opportunity to re-log book them there.
