I shall be organising a working party weekend for The Little Baddow site probably over the weekend of 11th and 12th June.

This will be work in the woodland on behalf of the site owner who has been very supportive of us in the use of his land. He will be working on the grass area later in the year himself but would appreciate some work in the woods. This would be of benefit to us as well.

If you can help that weekend let me know via email or in person at an event.

As a footnote the Landowner is very happy with us and what we are doing.
He wants some help to make the site more secure, especially the woods.
He will be maintaining the grass area later in the year.

Probably a spade, loppers, bow saw that sort of thing. Will let everyone know what needs to be done later. Might need to be towing some logs or building log bridges !!

All those that have offered help (and those that will!!).
We will meet from 10.00am on Sat and Sun so you can make either day or both.
Meet in the woods at the top of the site so there is the minimum number of cars on the grass and this is also where the first bit of work needs to be done.

Bring what tools you can to make life as easy as possible. Loppers,bow saws, gloves, boots etc.

Anyone can come and the kids can give a hand too!!
