Mentley Farm

Booking for Mentley Farm is now open.

This site has changed from the usual. We are now camping in the old trial field and trials will be held in a NEW woodland area. It is not too 'woody' so is suitable for TYRO and there are ponds, ditches and a small mud run for RTV.
The area for trialling is much bigger than previous events.
Access has changed slightly so FOLLOW THE SIGNS to camping.

There is camping on site from Friday 4.00pm - there is water on site, but you are advised to bring some with you to start with, and you will need to take your toilet waste home with you.

Saturday will see a gentle tyro / driver practice day and Sunday will be a RTV.

Book in below for trialling and camping. Derek still has phone problems, so book in with Karl for camping as well.

Just got back from meeting Steve at Mentley farm and due to a change in circumstances wa have now moved the trials area into the woods.

It's nowhere near as wooded as Shalford or Lt Baddow and there's a lot more room too.

I wasn't going to go this time but I am now

Whats this? We've not been to Mentley before but from what i've heard it sounds like something interesting is happening

According to the entry list Adam will be driving a 1009 inch Land Rover

Blimey, no matter how much room in the wood he won't get that 84 ft hard top very far !!

Hi Guys,
We are looking forward to Mently at the weekend. We have not been there before and my children have a few questions that you old timers may be able to answer.
MILLY: Q;; Is there any mountains that we can climb?
LIZZY: Q:: Are there any Volcanoes?
They are obviously looking for some kind of climbing weekend. I think they may have joined the wrong club. It would make there day if they had some kind of a reply tho ......Thanks . JAN

Hi Jan ,tell your girls ,yes there are mountains they can climb and yes there are volcanos also giant beasties that come up out of the ground and drag you down!!! problem is THEY ARE NOT ALL AT MENTLEY FARM !!! SHOULD BE FUN FOR THEM TO FIND OUT WHICH THOUGH hah! hah ! hah! Does that read like an evil laugh??
