first please, please, please dont think i am moaning at the club for this oversight,it is aimed at our so called postal service.

I came home the other morning to be greeted by our local posty who after 5 years of delivering to my home has never spoke or smiled once(must be all them early mornings),any way he handed me a card which stated i had a letter with no postage on it,when questioned if he had the letter the swift answer was no its in the sort office, and i would have to pick it up from there,i can,t pay him as they are not aloud to collect money!!!.

Off to the sort office I go,handed the card in and the letter appeared, now the bit I just can,t get over.

The cost for the posting is 24p thats fine but there is another fee, £1 when ask what for I was told handling fee,now as I think our royal mail work is they handal our mail anyway, and i had also payed the postage so how can they charge another 400% charge of posting to handal something they have now already being payed for and i had to pick up,so they didn,t even have to deliver it,

now thats good business charging the customer 400% more and only doing half a job,I wonder if I can get away with that!!!!!!!!(i think we all know the answer)

Anyone the mag was a great read and well worth the bit of money i had to pay so all ends well.

I had the opposite with my Exploits - it had a stamp but hadn't been franked or cancelled, so I could have used it again (if I could be bothered) biggrin.gif laugh.gif biggrin.gif laugh.gif
