Hello,

I don't beleive it ohmy.gif ohmy.gif ohmy.gif

After all the messing about trying to start the Buddah it turns out on later investigation the power supply to the coil had come unatached sad.gif .

This would not have been easily recognisable as the coil is tucked away under a thick rubber cover, this may have easily happened while leaning over the engine to bleed the clutch cylinder. huh.gif

A couple of pull ties soon sorted that problem from happening again. tongue.gif :

Now the Buddah is very happy and full of life starting every time first time on the button. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Looking on the bright side the weekend was not a complete waste of time as lessons were learnt and preventative maintenance carried out. biggrin.gif tongue.gif .

Hi, the coil lead becoming detached was probably down to me......sorry bout that. I hope it wasn't me, but it ain't easy hanging over the wing. Does it run alright now, and how is the clutch? Hope to see you soon, maye at the winch challenge? Dave

Hi Dave,

N.P. mate, like i said. I learnt from the day so it was not a complete waste.

Buddah starts first time every time on the button at the moment. biggrin.gif

Not a chance to drive it yet but the vehicle will start in gear with my foot on the clutch while in gear and although the wheels are still strapped up, when i raise my foot off the clutch the vehicle will stall.

I think thats a good sign. biggrin.gif
