Hi All
I know this is a bit of a silly question but can anyone let me know the spec for rtv motors,is it just mot,tax and second return spring, mark and me are toying with bring his standard 80" to the easter do to let it have some action and get dirty.
cheers

Thats pretty much it with good front and rear recovery points assuming everything else is completely standard.

For RTV you need all the basic stuff you would need to be safe on the road too, such as making sure the fuel cap doesn't leak (more common on the older vehicles with the filler beneath the driver's seat), and that the battery is strapped down.

Also, you will need to have a seat belt (or at least a lap strap) even if not fitted for road use on the 80".

much as i thought, its got tow points and 3 point belts, both our kids used it in last years junior champ with another club last year so tank cap is ok,the only problem now is going back and forwards from the yard to the site with different motors ,but it not to far now.

Now then, there are no stupid questions except those that are unasked!

I refer the honourable gentleman to the following:

http://www.elrc.info/trials/index.html

wherein there is much useful information on the subject, although I confess not as much as I thought. Where is Karl's treatise on the subject?

I think that Geoff is referring to the following:-

If you read part one, then right at the bottom is a link to part 2 dry.gif

OK Ralph, while you're in answering mode, where's the link back to Club website gone? It used to be at the top of the forum blink.gif

Ahah, Mea Culpa,
I expected the link to be the whole phrase, not just 'part 2'

Ralph- 02-15-2008
John,

The link has disappeared in my attempts to clear up these stupid adverts. I have also lost the logo and other graphical elements.

I'm getting really peeved (That's the polite term!!) with all this flashing and beeping which we have no control over. I am looking at moving the forum to a paid site to alleviate this rubbish our members have to put up with.

I will be presenting costs to the Committee at the next meeting, so please bear with me as I try to effect a solution.

regards
Ralph
