After protracted discussion, the committee has decided on a venue for Easter.
Due to availability of land in Essex, we are to co-promote the interclub event with Breckland LRC at their site at Bircham Netwon, near Kings Lynn. This site is the training ground for the 'Construction Industry Training Board' (CITB) and has been used by Breckland for many years. It is large enough to provide good scope for all the events, and has a number of facilities on site to ease planning of the event.
I will be in contact with those who has previously volunteered their services to discuss what needs to be done and if you are still abe to assist, once I have met more formally with BLRC to agree what they will do and what we will do.
As with previous years, the event will be a fundraiser - probably a split between the Essex and Norfolk air ambulances.
There were many good reasons for cancelling the event and just running a small local event, and equally strong reasons for continuing with it, even if it's a bit further afield.
More details will be posted here and on the main website as information becomes available.
