Hi All

I have been trying to get a Solex carb to replace the Zenith I have been running.

Before the Nationals if possible!

Craddocks are out of stock, but I have found somewhere else that might have one.
They have asked me a tricky question is it a 40Paoa or a 32 bpi2

I have no idea! does anyone else know?

All info greatfully recieved.

The number normally refers to the diameter in mm of the choke/barrel.
So basically measure the bottom of the carb where it meets the manifold and the diameter there is usually what you are after.
I would think that 32 is going to be a bit weak as the Weber conversion is a 34 and that's an economy conversion.

Thanks Deano

I'm all sorted now got the 40 and after Colin took it all apart Friday night it's running superbly. smile.gif
