Stolen Discovery (posted on behlaf of BHC LRC Member Gary Kenny)

It was stolen Sunday night / Monday (6th/7th Jan) morning just gone.
Last seen at 10pm, went to go to work at 5.30am and all that was left was some glass on the floor where a window was broken to gain entry.

It was taken from outside my house in Hertford Heath. All my camping gear was in the truck, but some of the gear was found by a dog walker about 8am on a green lane near the village of Sacombe. Just some bits & pieces really.

Landie was my 1991 Discovery 200Tdi, blue. BFG Muds, snorkel, rock sliders, rear tank guard and front steering guard were the main distinctive add ons. Plus hi-lift jack. Reg number: J985 UPU.

Camping gear nicked; Gransfor axe (£50!) 3 camping knives, 'Bancho' saw with leather sheath plus sharpening stone (£55!) £150 worth of tools, screwdrives, sockets, 2 breakers bars, etc. 2 Tow straps & 3 shackles. One of those battery jump starter jobbies. 2 camping tarps, £30 each plus awning poles. PLUS me London to Brighton plaques, 2006 & 2007! Take care of your Landies. The Police think it could of been targeted being a 'heavy' 4x4 to do a ram raid type of job.

Anyone can contact me on 07708 250067.
