I have just got back from the weekends 'driving force' event that we were helping at, and also had a team entry in. What a fantastic weekend 
The team entry of Wilkinson and Woods (aka Phil and Dave) came away with some silverware for taking first place in one of the auto tests and came in a very impressive 12th overall. This was their first entry in this kind of event and competing with competitors from the police, army, and other individuals from as far afield as scotland, northern ireland and holland

There will be a full write up in the next issue of Exploits but the summary is that we all had grins on our faces all weekend and the boys did very well. Congratulations
Why the topic title ??........................................... They were known as the Essex Boys, in short of The Essex Land Rover Club Team and when asked what did they think of the event so far Dave said 'hilarious'
Many many thanks to those who came along and helped to set up and run parts of the event, and for getting into places you just can't get into otherwise, it was great.
