There are a couple of ELRC members going to the AWDC comp at Waterbeach on the weekend of 19/20 April 08. This is a fantastic venue for both driving and watching comp safari's. There are usually about 60 cars entered for the 7 mile course around an old military airfield. Parking for entrants and spectators is on the runway, so you can even turn up in your road car and not get it muddy!

If anyone would like to join us, please feel free to turn up. There is camping on Sat night, and the event is on the Sunday, with the first lap at 10:00, probably finishing by 1500. Being a military site, the access times are strict - 0800 - 2000 only, so outside these hours you will find the gate locked with no attendant.
