The dates for the winch training day and the following TYRO winch event are confirmed as Saturday 1st December for the training and Sunday 2nd December for the TYRO winch event.

There is a list of people interested and have their name down for one or both events but we can accept more.

The actual venue and times will be displayed here at a later date. I shall be in contact with those listed to confirm their attendance but if you want to come along to learn how to use your winch safely and learn some excellent tips to make it easier and more professional then just email or call the club sec or Rover Rescue, phone or email.

We will be needing marshals to assist on the winch event day (Sunday 2nd December) so if you want to come along and help as well as see what goes on please feel free.

You are welcome to come to the training day to see what happens and how it is supposed to be done.

Just let Kev or Brian know you can help. We have had a couple of offers already so you won't be on your own.

It might be worth offering to marshal, as one day you just MIGHT need a winch recovery yourself
