Thanks to all involved in the Winch Training/Winch Event this weekend
Very informative, great fun,non-damaging,highly recommended if you have a winch or not...more..please!
Thanks again Pete.
Thanks from me too. Really appreciated the invite and the friendly atmosphere. Great weekend, good laughs, challenging trails, good blokes. Thanks to the instructor, marshalls and organisers.
Although I was only there on the Saturday [unfortunately] it was a very well constructed event and as a complete novice it has helped me gain some knowledge on the safe application of the winch. Thanks for everyone's friendly support and especially to Kev and Brian for their time and patience.

Hi, just a few words to add to the others about the winch event, very enjoyable, very informative, a big Thank You to all involved in managing the event and the instruction/advice given. You've given me a lot of confidence in using the winch and equipment safely and effectively, Thanks again, and when's the next one! Dave
I'm glad all those that attended had a good and rewarding day out.
We are hoping to make this an annual event and if you want to practise some more there is always the Shakedown on the 27th.
Nothing will be 'set out' but you can always winch each other out of the boggy bits in the bottom
I know i saw some camera's being used, what are the chances of getting some of the pictures posted up?
I have a few pics - just tell me who wants them or what I need to do and i will be happy to share.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all at the club.
I will not be at the shakedown unfortunately as I have my annual appontment with Snowdon.
See in January 2008.
Joe
