Hi Steve
There is green laning on the 22nd of November which is suitable for all - novices and shiney vehicles! This would be a good chance for you to try out your vehicle and get advice from the more experienced laners in the club. A tow rope is a good idea - it needs to be one that is suitable for recovery, not one of the 'bits of string' that you can get at standard motor accessory shops. It might be worth waiting until after the laning event to buy one so that you can see the sort that other club members have. A 'standard' Disco is fine for laning but you should have recovery points on the front and rear of the vehicle. ( a standard tow ball is fine on the rear) Hope this helps Sue |

Hi Steve
For your first trip the towing eye will be ok, we can discuss future requirements when we see you. Families are very welcome, remember to bring a packed lunch for a family day out. If you want further info before the day come along to the Pub meet at the Hare, Roxwell on the 17th November from 8.00 Sue |
